Thaksin Shinawatra donated 120 pairs of bomb-shrapnel-resistant shoes, worth a total of 3 million baht, to EOD (Emergency Operations) and border soldiers to enhance safety while on missions in high-risk areas. The complete deliveries will be completed within 30 days.
Today (August 15, 2025), Pol. Maj. Gen. Surasit Sangkhaphong, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister's Office and President of Class 10 of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School, revealed that former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra expressed concern for soldiers patrolling the Thai-Cambodian border and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit, who were injured and lost their legs from stepping on landmines.
